Information for NewEnrollments- We are State and County licensed
- We have routine inspections by Fire, Saftey, Health, State, and County; and are members of the Chamber of Commerce
- We have built in Fire Alarm System and an Air Conditioning System for the summer
- We open at 6 AM and close at 6 PM. We are open all year round, but are closed on all major Government holidays. We close for 2days on Thanksgiving and Christmas
- We are professionally staffed. The teachers that head each age group have their degree or equivalent experience. WE FAR EXCEED THE STATE REQUIREMENT
- We have a Structured Program. The day is completely planned with learning and play activities. We teach the children (because they are so receptive to learning at a young age) but do not lose the elements of adventure, exploration, self expression, and fun that should accompany the learning process. We do much more than just play
- We have snacks in the morning and afternoon. Snack is usually juice with fresh fruit, pretzels, crackers, or such. No sweets are given except for graham crackers, since they are a special treat that the kids love very much
- We have a hot, well-balanced meal at lunchtime. It is catered by a State and County approved contracter, and is transported in containers that are also approved by both the State and County
- Each Pre-School child is assigned his/her own "cubbie". This gives the child a sense of security. They are also assigned their own individual cot
- After lunch there is usually a story time (time-permitting) while the teacher cleans up and puts out the cots
- Each child must furnish his/her own sheet and blanket for his/her cot, and extra set of clothing and diapers if necessary. Everything MUST be clearly marked with the child's name or the center will not be held responsible for the lost articles
- The children get up from nap at 3:00 and then have their PM snack
- The children are permitted to play outdoors if the weather permits. If not, constructive arts, crafts, or games are scheduled as indoor activities
- We do have occasional field trips, and many special actvities at the center itself. (Ex. Magic show, puppet show, pumpkin show, etc). A music teacher comes every Friday
- We have a Registered Nurse on staff and are able to dispense (limited) medications with a signed permission slip
- Due to the fact that we are State and County licensed, it is mandatory that each child have a physical within 14 days of your child's first day. Parents/Guardians must also provide proof of identity within 7 days of enrolling your child(ren)
- There is a registation fee, which is non-refundable. Once paid, this fee will hold a spot open for your child(ren) in the center. We are happy to have parents visit the center and encourage them to do so
- Parents are encouraged to schedule one hour "transitional" visits for your child(ren) up to 3 days prior to their scheduled start date
